Chief instructor Jim O'Connell is a certified Nami ryu instructor who trained and taught at the Hombu dojo of James Williams sensei for over 25 years. The dojo sponsors study groups in Phoenix, Albany NY, Laredo TX and Colorado Springs, and its lineage runs from the Yoshida clan of Satsuma through Yoshida Kotaro, Yoshida Kenji and Don Angier to James Williams.

Monthly duesThe dojo publishes a RANGE, not a single figure: 'Monthly fees range from $50 - $85 per month depending on your training program and frequency.' $50 is recorded as the tier price because it is the entry rate; the $85 upper bound is carried in monthlyPriceMax. Billing is automated. Special membership programs exist for families, military and first responders, and a contract scholarship 'Uchideshi Program' is offered to students committing to more rigorous training — none of these are priced.
