About Discovery Self Defense Arizona
Discovery Self Defense teaches Budo Taijutsu (ninjutsu) based self-defense at 1250 East Southern Ave in Mesa, Arizona, serving the Mesa and Chandler area. Its All Levels class covers defenses against grabs, pushes, punches, kicks and weapons attacks as well as groundwork, with each session built around one complete technique, and runs Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. Senior instructor Maynard Breese is described as the only active Budo Taijutsu instructor in Arizona to have worked with both Black Belt Hall of Fame member Stephen K Hayes and Hanshi John Poliquin, founder of the Discovery Martial Arts group. New students who drop out within their first 30 days get a full refund of their monthly tuition.
