About Gracie Barra Vail Jiu-Jitsu
Gracie Barra Vail is a Gracie Barra affiliate school serving the Vail area of Tucson, Arizona, led by Professor Angel Campos, a 1st-degree black belt who started BJJ in 1992 at the Gracie Academy in Torrance and is a two-time IBJJF Pan-American medalist. It runs the standard Gracie Barra curriculum — GBK kids, GB1 fundamentals, GB2 advanced (which adds no-gi), GB3 expert and the GBF women's program — and is designated a Gracie Barra Premium School. Several of its coaches are military veterans and law-enforcement officers, and Sunday is reserved for private lessons.
