About Magnus Mixed Martial Arts

Magnus Mixed Martial Arts is a Tucson gym running adult programmes in no-gi jiu-jitsu, kickboxing, MMA grappling, MMA striking and Muay Thai, plus a no-gi open mat, alongside youth wrestling and youth boxing for ages 7-13. Owner and head coach Amos Sotelo is a former professional fighter — a two-time New Mexico state wrestling champion as a child, an amateur then professional boxer by 20, and later a professional MMA fighter and no-gi jiu-jitsu competitor — who has been coaching professional fighters, youth and general members for over 20 years. The gym is open six days a week with morning and evening classes and describes itself as beginner-friendly but not beginner-only.
