About New Wave Boxing
New Wave Boxing is a family-owned boxing gym at 4563 N Cedar Ave in Fresno, CA running beginner and competition tracks for both kids (ages 5-14) and adults, plus a Friday open gym, with Saturdays given over to competitions. Its competition kids squad is a sponsored travelling team and the adult competition team trains for amateur boxing under amateur sparring rules. The facility has a full-size 20x20 ring and a complete weights and conditioning area. Founder and head coach Coach George has years of competitive fighting experience and has trained hundreds of fighters including UFC's Deron Winn, on the principle of 'championship-level training for everyone'; the first class is free.
