About Gracie Barra Colorado Springs Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Gracie Barra Colorado Springs was the first Gracie Barra academy in Colorado, founded in 2011 by Professor Bryan Waltz, a fourth-degree black belt under Roberto “Tussa” Alencar who was promoted at Gracie Barra New Mexico that same year. He co-owns the school with his wife Professor Vanessa Waltz, a second-degree black belt training since 2003 who has medalled at IBJJF Pan Ams, No-Gi Worlds and Master Worlds and specialises in adult and teen classes. The academy teaches the standard Gracie Barra curriculum — GBK kids, GB1 fundamentals, GB2 advanced with no-gi and the women-only GBF program.
