About Prime Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Prime Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a Colorado Springs academy founded in 2012 by Professor Marcelo Motta, a 4th-degree black belt of Carlson Gracie lineage who has trained BJJ for 35 years and holds No-Gi World and Masters World titles. The academy teaches gi and no-gi to adults at all levels, with a dedicated women's programme coached by women, and kids' classes split into "little Samurais" (ages 4-8) and teens (9-15). It runs a competition side too — boot camps, private lessons with black-belt coaches, and a presence at IBJJF City Opens, Pans and Worlds, with over ten world champions across the colour belts.
