About Gracie Jiu Jitsu Smyrna
Gracie Jiu Jitsu Smyrna is a Certified Gracie University Training Center on Pier Head Boulevard in Smyrna, Delaware, independently owned and run by head instructor Howard Steele, who has taught martial arts in the Middletown, Smyrna and Dover area for over 25 years. It teaches the licensed Gracie curriculum - Gracie Combatives, Gracie Bullyproof for children and Women Empowered - with an emphasis on realistic self-defense for women, children and non-athletes. Steele is also a Gracie Survival Tactics master instructor who runs law-enforcement defensive-tactics courses nationwide, supported by eight volunteer assistant instructors.
