About Okito Amercia (City of Alachua)
Okito America's City of Alachua centre is one of three Okito family centres serving the Gainesville area, combining after-school care with school pickup, camps, birthday parties and martial arts classes in Taekwondo, kickboxing and self-defense. It was founded in 2007 by Orlando Millan, who has around 30 years in martial arts including Special Forces training, and his wife Nori Millan, co-founder and CEO. The Alachua location is run by general manager Felix Melendez, who has been with Okito for over seven years, starting as a counsellor. Staff are background-checked and CPR-certified.
