About United Martial Arts Center
United Martial Arts Center (UMACUS) in Fort Myers, FL has taught Korean martial arts for more than three decades. Its curriculum is Ko Am Mu Do - a system founded by four 9th dan grandmasters, first presented at a seminar in Fort Myers in March 1997 - together with Taekwondo and Hapkido. The school was originally led by Grandmaster Noah Guak and is now owned and headed by Master David Torres, a former emergency-medicine and military professional who has taught there for around 15 years and is known for working with children with ADHD and autism. UMAC also runs an after-school program.
