About Okito America (Archer Rd)
Okito America's Archer Road centre in Gainesville is one of three Okito family centres in the area, combining after-school care with school pickup, camps, birthday parties and martial arts classes in Taekwondo, kickboxing and self-defense. It was founded in 2007 by Orlando Millan, who has around 30 years in martial arts including Special Forces training, and his wife Nori Millan, a nurse by background who is co-founder and CEO. Marvin Walker, the regional chief instructor and a former youth pastor, teaches at Archer Road and oversees both the martial arts and after-school programmes. Staff are background-checked and CPR-certified.
