About Sarasota BJJ / Six Blades Jiu Jitsu (BJJ-SRQ)
Sarasota BJJ is the Six Blades Jiu Jitsu school on North Lockwood Ridge Road in Sarasota, Florida, part of Xande Ribeiro's Six Blades / Ribeiro Jiu Jitsu association of over 70 schools worldwide. It runs gi and no-gi classes for adults and kids plus self-defense, and fields a competition team. Sensei Jeremy Harris leads the academy — a 4th-degree black belt with about 30 years on the mats who has taught with Six Blades since 2002 and is a multiple-time IBJJF Pan Am champion and 2020 IBJJF Masters world silver medallist — alongside black belt instructor Daniel Barbacena, and the school regularly hosts visiting world champions including Xande Ribeiro, Victor Hugo, Gustavo Dias, Steve Hargett and Felipe Costa.
