Island Jiu Jitsu is an Atos-affiliated academy at 760 Halekauwila Street in Honolulu, teaching Gracie jiu-jitsu under the philosophy "No Politics, Gracious Teaching, and Team Unity". Its adult timetable covers fundamentals, gi and no-gi, a competition class, drilling sessions, women's-only drills, a monthly women's self-defense class and open mat, alongside kids classes from age three. It is owned and coached by Jason Vigil, a black belt since 2013, with a large coaching roster and a history of hosting visiting seminars from Gui Mendes, JT Torres and Richie Martinez.
