About Fuson's Eclectic Martial Arts & Jeet Kune Do Academy
Fuson's Eclectic Martial Arts & Jeet Kune Do Academy at 614 S. Wells St in Mishawaka, Indiana has served the Michiana area since 1997 and teaches what it calls integrated martial arts for real-world self-defense rather than sport or tournament fighting: Kalsadapo-Kenpo Karate, Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do, Jun Fan Gung Fu and Filipino Martial Arts, on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Founder Sifu Russell Fuson has trained since 1976, is a U.S. Army veteran and USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame member, and was certified in person through instructor level under Sifu Larry Hartsell, one of Bruce Lee's top students; he has also trained under American Kenpo founder Ed Parker and worked as a stunt and weapons coordinator on films. He is joined by Sifu/Guro Joe Grooms, a 3rd-degree black belt in Kalsadapo-Kenpo Karate. The school states it does not hand out rank for fees.
