About Shonen Jiu Jitsu
Shonen Jiu Jitsu is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu-only academy in the Cromwell Field Shopping Center in Glen Burnie, MD, deliberately specialising in jiu-jitsu rather than running a mixed MMA program. Adults and teens 13+ train in Basics and All-Levels classes in both gi and no-gi, and kids classes run for ages 5-7 and 8-12 on a coloured-belt curriculum. It is led by Professor Lee Rosenfield, a first degree black belt under the Mendes brothers and a former instructor at the Art of Jiu Jitsu Academy in Costa Mesa, CA, whose titles include the IBJJF Adult Black Belt No-Gi American National Championship.
