About North Shore Martial Arts Center

North Shore Martial Arts Center at 75 Myrtle Street in Melrose, Massachusetts has run since 1997 under head instructor Sensei Bill Craig, teaching Kenpo Karate to kids, teens and adults and Brazilian jiu-jitsu to kids and teens, on evenings and weekend mornings. Its stated purpose is character development as much as technique — 'Creating Leaders — One Black Belt at a Time' — with a structured curriculum built around leadership, responsibility and life skills, and tools sent home so parents can reinforce them. It added its jiu-jitsu programme as a later expansion, and offers trial packages of two weeks for $29 for kids or three classes for $19.99 for adults, both including a free uniform.
