BJJ in Watertown

Watertown is home to **Kimura Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Watertown** at 15 N. Beacon Street — the Boston flagship of the Kimura BJJ USA team (also a Boca Raton, FL location). The academy was founded in 2003 by Master **Jean Kleber de Freitas**, a 6th-degree IBJJF black belt with 30+ years of experience: he started training in 1991 at age 14, earned his black belt in 2001, and founded Kimura USA in Boston in 2003. Belt rank is certified by IBJJF, USJJF, COBJJ, and CBJJ. The instructor bench also includes Professor **Diego Faroni**, a 3rd-degree black belt with 23 years in Jiu-Jitsu (now full-time at Kimura Boca Raton, formerly a top competitor at Kimura Boston).
