About KSK Martial Arts
KSK Martial Arts in Lansing, Michigan was founded in 2000 by Guro/Sifu T. Kent Nelson and teaches three arts side by side: Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Jeet Kune Do Concepts and Kali/Filipino martial arts with stick, knife, sword, staff and flexible weapons. Youth classes run as Little Ninjas (6-11) and Rising Warriors (12-17). Nelson has trained since 1984 and holds instructor rankings in FMA and JKD under Dan Inosanto, Daniel Lonero and Paul Vunak, in Silat under Dan Inosanto, and a BJJ brown belt under Professor Chet Schemahorn; the school also sells instructional courses and runs seminars internationally, with affiliate groups in Boston, Toledo and Savannah.
