About Detroit Fight Club

Detroit Fight Club is a medieval armored combat (buhurt) club that trains out of Michigan Top Team at 22222 Telegraph Rd in Southfield, Michigan. It trains fighters and teams for duels, outrace and buhurt melee formats — 5v5 up to 30v30 — mostly in foam gear before progressing to armor, and follows the rule sets of Armored Combat Sports, the American Medieval Combat Federation and Medieval Combat USA. The club runs men's and women's programs, hosts demos and national qualifying tournaments, and appears at the Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus and the Canterbury Village Medieval Faire.
