About Bear’s Den Grappling Center * Jiu-Jitsu

Bear's Den Grappling Center is a veteran-owned non-profit in Wyandotte, Michigan teaching jiu-jitsu and wrestling to adults (13 and older) and kids (ages 5-15). Head coach Jeff Maloney has coached with Wyandotte Wrestling since 2005, began BJJ in 2009 under Danny Agemy at Detroit Jiu-Jitsu, earned his black belt in 2019 and moved the team to Six Blades Jiu-Jitsu under Chris Blanke in 2021; he is an IBJJF Pans medalist at black belt. The gym partners with the We Defy Foundation, Adopt A Cop BJJ and EF Combatives to provide training for veterans and law enforcement, and charges no belt-testing fees.
