Steel Coast Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at 3801 25th Ave, Unit A, Gulfport, MS is an IBJJF-approved academy (USBJJF ID 12668) on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, open 9am-8pm Monday to Friday and 9am-2pm Saturdays. It offers gi and no-gi BJJ for 3-4 year olds, 5-8s, 9+ and adults with fundamental and advanced classes, a homeschool BJJ program, women's BJJ, adult kickboxing, shoot boxing and MMA, plus private lessons in BJJ, judo, wrestling, kickboxing and boxing. Owner and head coach Dan Carlson is a black belt under Joel Tudor of the Surfight Team who has been grappling since 1995, and is a multiple-time IBJJF national champion, Pan Ams champion and SJJIF world champion; purple belt Isaiah teaches gi classes at HQ and Wednesdays at Full Circle Martial Arts and Yoga in Long Beach.
