About Gracie South Jiu Jitsu & Kickboxing
Gracie South, established in 2006 in Ridgeland, Mississippi, calls itself the Jackson area's first authentic jiu-jitsu academy. It runs evening adult gi and no-gi classes, kids gi and no-gi classes, a Saturday morning no-gi class and an open mat after almost every session. Six instructors are listed, headed by two black belts, and the curriculum leans on live drilling and rolling for self-defense and, optionally, competition.
