Gracie Humaita Kansas City teaches Brazilian jiu-jitsu and Gracie self-defense at 1323 Atlantic Ave in North Kansas City, Missouri, following the Gracie Humaita three-stage structure of Fundamentals, Advanced and Black Belt programmes, with an on-boarding programme for people with zero experience and a kids' programme. The adult room runs from 16 to 65 year olds, women train in the regular classes with private lessons available, and the academy sponsors a competition team and hosts visiting seminars — including Royler Gracie in September 2026. Head instructor Professor Michael Graeber is a 4th-degree black belt under Wellington "Megaton" Dias, a five-time Arizona State champion and Pan American medallist who has trained with the Gracie Humaita World Competition Team in Rio.
