About Springfield Fight Club
Springfield Fight Club in Springfield, MO is an affiliate of the Montanha Jiu-Jitsu Academy and describes itself as the most decorated gym in southwest Missouri. It teaches gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, kickboxing, a women's class and kids BJJ, with a competition team. It is co-owned by Gabriel Wouk, a 3rd degree BJJ black belt, and Brett Welcome, a 2nd degree black belt who runs the 5am adult class, and its twelve-strong coaching staff includes MMA head coach Nate Stambursky, kids BJJ head coach Ryan Culbertson-Faegre and three professional MMA fighters. Two students were promoted to black belt after ten or more years of training.
