About St. Charles MMA and BJJ
St. Charles Mixed Martial Arts (SCMMA) is a full-service gym at 1861 Scherer Pkwy in St. Charles, Missouri teaching Brazilian jiu-jitsu, boxing, kickboxing, wrestling and MMA to everyone from beginners to professional fighters. It describes itself as a no-nonsense, old-school gym and splits the building into a padded jiu-jitsu room, a striking room with a boxing ring and heavy bags, and a strength and conditioning room, with locker rooms and a spectator viewing area. Head coach and owner Mike Rogers leads a large coaching staff, and there are separate youth classes including kids BJJ.
