About Legacy BJJ

Legacy BJJ in Papillion, NE (Omaha) is part of the global Team Vaghi network under Rodrigo Vaghi, a 6th degree black belt under Rickson Gracie. It is a coach-led academy whose black belts teach and roll daily, offering BJJ fundamentals, all-levels and advanced classes, live sparring, open mats, judo, self-defense, strength and conditioning, a youth program and a Community Heroes program for military, first responders and educators. Professor Ed Shobe, Nebraska's first Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, has trained under Rodrigo Vaghi since 1998, earned his black belt in January 2012 and is now a 3rd degree; Professor Anthony holds black belts in BJJ under Vaghi and in judo under Sensei Mike Penny, and Professor Matt Davis has taught judo since 2000.

Membership freeze - one-time feeApplies to both adults and kids. Pauses payments for up to 4 months while keeping enrolment active and the class spot reserved, with no re-enrollment fee on return. Extensions at the academy's discretion; a membership not resumed within 4 months is closed as abandoned.
