About Union UTA Martial Arts / SAMI Combat Systems Of NJ
Union UTA Martial Arts (Unified Training Academy) in Union, NJ has been family owned and operated since 2001 and is America's first SAMI Combat Systems International Training Center - the Austrian system created by Peter Weckauf, focused here on Panantukan dirty boxing, knife fighting and tomahawk fighting. It teaches an adaptive curriculum drawing on kickboxing, Ninjutsu, judo, grappling and jiu-jitsu, Kali, American Taekwondo, combative knife concepts and tactical combat training, across Little Dragons, Juniors, Teen, Adult and SAMI programs, with black belt open floor sessions most evenings. It has taught anti-bullying and character development in public and private schools for over 20 years, reaching around 5,000 children a year. Owner and chief instructor Robert Nichols is a two-time US Martial Arts Hall of Fame Man of the Year, a certified life purpose coach and the author of the Amazon number one bestseller "Earn a Black Belt in... an Average Guy's Guide to Life"; 4th degree black belt David Martin has trained there since 2007 and assisted since 2011.
