About The Grappling Club

The Grappling Club is Brooklyn's first social club dedicated to the grappling arts, founded by BJJ black belt Alex Bednenko (1984–2020), who passed away in 2020. Located in Williamsburg at 370 S 4th St, the gym offers gi and no-gi BJJ, wrestling, a competition class, and members-only open mat sessions. Despite the founder's passing, the school continues operating and the club carries on the community he built.
