Martial Arts of NC is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu academy on Bragg Blvd in Fayetteville, North Carolina, headed by Professor Michael Donvito, a 6th-degree black belt promoted by Master Carlos Machado in 2005 after backgrounds in Okinawa Kenpo, Japanese jiu-jitsu and judo. The timetable runs adult BJJ Monday through Thursday evenings, children's BJJ and submission-grappling classes by age band (4-6 and 7-15), a Wednesday homeschool class, and adult open mats on Friday and Saturday. The school also runs by-appointment self-defense sessions, an Emotional Well-Being and Adaptive program for therapeutic recreation, and 'At Your School' BJJ programmes in private schools across the state.
