About Gracie Raleigh

Gracie Raleigh was established in 2011 and calls itself the Raleigh area's longest continuously running jiu-jitsu gym, training on 2,600 square feet of mat with five black belt instructors. It runs gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu from a Gracie Fundamentals foundation through all-levels and mixed-level classes, thirty-minute gi/no-gi open rolling blocks after most sessions, Muay Thai and kickboxing, and a kids programme split into 4-6, 7-12 and a 13-15 teen tier that trains alongside both the kids and adult classes. Owner Brandon Garner is a 3rd-degree black belt promoted by Royce Gracie in November 2011, a professional MMA fighter with an 8-1 record and a former Army Special Forces hand-to-hand combat instructor. New students train ten classes before starting live sparring.
