About Fargo BJJ Academy
Fargo BJJ Academy was established in 2008 by husband-and-wife black belts George and Sarah Andersch and was the first school to bring Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to the Dakotas and western Minnesota. It now has hundreds of students and more than twenty black belts, and its students and coaches have gone on to open academies across the region. Programs run beginner to advanced and cover gi and no-gi, self-defense, a women's self-defense program and a women-only self-defense and fitness class combining circuit training with BJJ-based defense, both led by Professor Sarah Andersch, a 4th degree black belt and world-class competitor. The Anderschs are black belts under American BJJ pioneer Amal Easton, whose team is affiliated with Renzo Gracie.
