Watermark Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a BJJ academy in Brecksville, Ohio, minutes from I-77 south of Cleveland, founded and led by owner and head instructor Travis Anderson, who has over 15 years in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and karate and came up at Hurricane Jiu Jitsu in Cleveland with repeated training trips to Brazil. The name is a double reference to that former gym and to the idea that Jiu-Jitsu, like a watermark, cannot be faked. Training is pitched at every level from first-timers to competitors, with an explicit emphasis on practical self-defence, anti-bullying work for kids and teens, and a no-contract membership; the school hosts visiting champions such as Alex Sodre and Ana Mayordomo for clinics.
