Academy 440 Jiu-Jitsu & Fitness is a family-friendly grappling gym at 38341 Western Pkwy in Willoughby, Ohio, north-east of Cleveland. Its timetable is built around gi and no-gi jiu-jitsu — gi fundamentals, gi and no-gi classes, an advanced no-gi class geared to competition — plus kids' gi and no-gi classes for ages 5-12, a women's self-defense class and a Saturday open mat. Owner and head coach Brad Bukovics, a black belt and active competitor, leads a staff of five with over 60 years of combined experience, and new students get their first two weeks free with no contract.
