About Roots Muay Thai

Roots Muay Thai is an Edmond, Oklahoma gym established in September 2024, teaching traditional Muay Thai from age four upward: Muay Thai Minis (4-6), Kids Muay Thai (7-12), and teens/adults 13+, plus open mat sessions and Friday sparring. It was founded by Bronson, who began combat training in 2004 as a US Army Airborne Infantryman through the Army Combatives programme and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, then spent a decade in BJJ, Vale Tudo, kickboxing and Muay Thai. In 2021 he and his eldest son both won titles at the Thai Boxing World Championships in Des Moines, where his son took the Nak Muay trophy as standout fighter of the tournament.
