About Cohesion Training Academy
Cohesion Training Academy in Tulsa, Oklahoma is a chartered academy of the United States Judo Association and an active IBJJF member, teaching Brazilian jiu-jitsu, judo, kickboxing and Krav Maga alongside kids classes. It is owned and led by Professor Steve Matias, a 3rd-degree BJJ black belt under Professor John Ouano and a 4th-degree USJA judo black belt with over 25 years in martial arts. Matias is a Marine Corps combat veteran and former Marine Combat Instructor of Water Survival, serves as vice president of the USJA, and was inducted into the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame in July 2025.
