About Connection Rio Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy

Connection Rio Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy serves Bend and Redmond in Central Oregon under Professor Dennis Asche, a 4th-degree black belt promoted in 2009 with more than thirty years in martial arts, twelve of them in Rio de Janeiro. The academy teaches a single progressive curriculum across gi and no-gi so grips and techniques translate between the two, with all-levels, fundamentals, competition, over-40-friendly and members-only open mat sessions, plus Muay Thai, MMA, kids gi and no-gi from age four, and women's-only BJJ, self-defence and Muay Thai classes. Every instructor has been taught the Connection Rio system and ranked by Asche, and the academy offers discounts to police, first responders, military and veterans.
