About Northwest Fighting Arts

Northwest Fighting Arts (NWFA) is a large Portland martial arts school established in 1994 with over 500 active students and 25,000+ alumni. Head instructor Jeff Patterson holds a BJJ black belt awarded by Master Rigan Machado in 2007, and has black belt equivalency across Muay Thai, Eskrima, Tai Chi, Jeet Kune Do, Kenpo, and Qigong. Programs include BJJ, MMA, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Boxing, Eskrima/Kali/Arnis, JKD, Tai Chi, and Kids Martial Arts.
