About Inverted Gear Academy
Inverted Gear Academy is an owner-operated Brazilian jiu-jitsu school in Allentown, PA co-founded by black belts Nelson Puentes — founder of the Inverted Gear apparel brand and an IBJJF World Masters bronze medallist — and Hillary Witt. Every class is taught by a founder or by a black belt who trained at the gym, and eight further black belts train there weekly alongside brown and purple belt coaches. Programmes cover adult BJJ, kids and the younger Cubs class, a women's class, and a drop-in open mat.
