BJJ in Ardmore

Ardmore carries one listing on the Main Line. **Main Line United Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu** is led by Steve Bowers, a 4th-degree BJJ black belt who received his promotion from Jared Weiner in July 2008 (with ~30 years of grappling, a former wrestling background, and Judo under Fred Murty). The instructor staff is unusually deep for a Main Line independent: four black belts (Bowers, Paul "Jaxon" Miller — 1st-degree under Bowers, Sean McGrew, and Tony Patarino), plus Katrina Filer (black belt under Bowers, who heads the women's BJJ class) and pro MMA fighter / BJJ purple belt Hector Pacheco on the kickboxing/MMA track.
