About Mat Factory
The Mat Factory at 2827 Leechburg Rd in Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania started as a wrestling club and has grown into a combat club serving the New Kensington, Tarentum, Arnold and Plum areas. It runs wrestling practices from junior high through collegiate level, kids' jiu-jitsu for ages 5-12 in the gi with belt progression, adult jiu-jitsu for 13 and up in gi and no-gi, kids' and adult martial arts, private training in jiu-jitsu, boxing, MMA and fitness, and pilates. Members can upgrade to a recovery room with a sauna, filtered ice bath, cupping, red light therapy, compression boots and a massage chair. The gym is a known training destination for MMA fighters near Pittsburgh and offers a free trial class.
