About Kim's Martial Arts & Fitness
Kim's Martial Arts & Fitness has taught judo and taekwondo in Pittsburgh since 1965, founded by Grandmaster Kyu Ha Kim (1935-2021), a 9th-degree black belt, two-time All-Korean national champion nicknamed "The Tree", US Judo Hall of Fame and Martial Arts Hall of Fame inductee who coached the US Olympic team from 1978 to 1980 and taught judo and taekwondo at the University of Pittsburgh from 1975. The school runs two locations — Brentwood at 3606 Brownsville Rd, opposite Brentwood High School, and Cranberry at 1220 Freedom Crider Rd inside the Tri-County Soccer Arena — offering kids and adult judo and taekwondo, judo ne-waza and aikido.
