About Charleston Krav Maga & BJJ
Charleston Krav Maga & BJJ has taught Krav Maga in Charleston, SC since 2004 and is the Lowcountry's only Krav Maga Worldwide and Fit to Fight affiliated centre, with nine certified instructors. Owner Matt Robinson is a Krav Maga black belt in the line from Imi Lichtenfeld through Darren Levine, a UFAF 3rd degree black belt, an MMA certified instructor and a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, and leads both the Krav Maga and BJJ programs. Alongside Krav Maga, BJJ (with a competition team) and MMA/kickboxing, the school runs the T.E.A.M. kids program - Teamwork, Enthusiasm, Attitude, Motivation - which rotates through BJJ, Krav Maga, kickboxing, karate and Muay Thai, a homeschool physical education option, six-week women's empowerment sessions, and free anti-bullying and abduction-prevention seminars for K-12 schools.
