About FightWorks Academy
FightWorks Academy in Greenville, South Carolina is a Relson Gracie jiu-jitsu school led by Dan Wallen, a 6th-degree black belt who became Relson Gracie's 40th black belt in July 2011 after a decade training in Northern Virginia. Wallen wrestled from sixth grade through high school, organised the Copa Nova Jiu-Jitsu Championships for several years, co-hosted The Fightworks Podcast, is an IBJJF Nationals finalist and Masters and Seniors World No-Gi bronze medallist, and also holds a Hap Ki Do black belt under D.C. Song. The academy offers 16 training options a week — midday and evening adult/teen jiu-jitsu, kids classes for ages 8-14, and an open mat after every weeknight class.
