KM Martial Arts in Greenville, SC is the US headquarters of Kali Majapahit, a Filipino martial arts system with elements of Pencak Silat, Muay Thai, Western boxing, Wing Chun, Tai Chi and Jeet Kune Do, founded in Tahiti in 1998 by Fred and Lila Evrard. The Greenville headquarters opened in 2018 and runs adult, kids and law-enforcement programmes alongside an online training academy. Founder Fred Evrard is a close-quarter-combat instructor for law enforcement agencies and a counter-terrorism consultant for the French Ministry of Defence.
