About Misfits Grappling Club
Misfits Grappling Club in Sioux Falls, SD teaches gi and no-gi jiu-jitsu with a Sunday-only wrestling class, a Sunday open mat and a youth program running Monday and Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. Owner and head instructor Coach Sawyer Buttweiler is a 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu brown belt under Nate Kleinfeld of 10th Planet St. Paul, South Dakota's 23-time Submission Challenge champion across his weight class and the open divisions in both gi and no-gi, with over 15 years of submission grappling and teaching credits in South Dakota, Minnesota, the Bahamas, Quebec and Hanoi. Tyler Ockenga, one of the first purple belts promoted in house, covers classes and is building out the kids program.
