Phoenix MMA and Fitness is a locally owned family business at 1479 North Mount Juliet Road in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, catering to first-timers and experienced competitors alike. Owner and head instructor Cory Robison competed in combat sports at the highest level, winning a WKA kickboxing world championship for Team USA in Scotland, living and training in Brazil with black belt world champion Robert Drysdale, and taking an IBJJF world title of his own before a professional MMA career. Its jiu-jitsu programme is split into adult gi, adult no-gi, kids gi and kids no-gi, and the gym actively corners fighters on regional MMA and kickboxing cards.
