About Gracie Barra El Paso

Gracie Barra El Paso was opened in June 2012 by Professor Jeff Vigil, a third-degree black belt under Roberto “Tussa” Alencar, and has since become one of the city's larger competitive Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu programs. The school teaches the standard Gracie Barra curriculum — GBK kids, GB1 fundamentals, GB2 advanced with no-gi, GB3 expert and the women-only GBF program — in both gi and no-gi. Its team competes at IBJJF and ADCC events, and the school later opened a second location, Gracie Barra East El Paso.
