About Panther City Martial Arts
Panther City Martial Arts at 2512 Mall Circle in Fort Worth teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling and Muay Thai kickboxing, with BJJ split into kids 5-12 (with striking twice a week) and adults 13+, a daytime homeschool BJJ programme for ages 5-16, adult Muay Thai from 13, a six-week summer camp combining jiu-jitsu with STEM projects, and birthday parties. Head instructor Professor Brayner Martinez began in Shonto Karate in Venezuela more than 30 years ago and trained under Marcos Santos in BJJ, Orlando Rivera in kickboxing and Kru Phil Nurse in Muay Thai, through whom he sparred with Georges St-Pierre and Jon Jones. The gym was formed in 2022 when co-owner Kristi Lundberg joined forces with Martinez and a group of members from another academy that was closing.
