About Monarch Muay Thai
Monarch Muay Thai is the striking side of Monarch Academy on West Loop 1604 N in northwest San Antonio, Texas, a family martial arts academy that also teaches gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling and MMA. Adult Muay Thai runs Monday to Friday at 7 PM, with a kids Muay Thai class twice a week, kids' kickboxing and wrestling, weekday homeschool jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai classes, and a first-Saturday open mat. Angel Soto is head Muay Thai coach, Tony Hernandez - a veteran combat-sports coach and the inaugural head coach of the San Antonio Gunslingers arena football team - runs kids Muay Thai, and Andrezo Ramos leads the jiu-jitsu programme.
