About San Antonio Jiu-Jitsu Academy

San Antonio Jiu-Jitsu Academy is a family owned and operated gym in the Alamo Ranch area of San Antonio, running kids gi and no-gi classes for ages 4-12, adult classes from 13 up, kids and adult competition classes, and a women's-only gi class on the first Saturday of each month. Head coach Carl Cline is a second-degree black belt and former MMA champion with over 20 years of training and three IBJJF Open golds at black belt; the staff also includes Cicero Costha black belt Igor Schneider, a multiple-time Brazilian Nationals, Pan American, European Open and IBJJF World champion. The Tuesday adult no-gi class is free to military, veterans and first responders.
